Agree that Subs should go on the floor but have done the measurements and have found that my sub could fit on a speaker stand behind my tv situated in the corner. This would keep it out of site and prevent our child from using it to see out the window. Also tie sound in nicely to front r/l/c channels.
If i used a hifi speaker stand what suitable material would isolate the sub better as a base fixed between stand and sub?
Only paid £7.50 for some Gale Hifi speaker stands so shouldn't cost me much to try this out.
Other option is:
Does anybody know of a small sub either 'narrow' (17-18 cm ish!) or less than 25cm cubed. Must fit in well with a variety of systems if i was to upgrade my Jamos in future.
