Whilst browsing these forums, it's all very well reading about the latest Hegel Schmegel 9000, the Kef LS50 (is it or isn't it disappointing?) or yet another cable discussion/row, but sometimes I like to find out about something slightly off the beaten path. Recently I stumbled upon these two UK speakers manufacturers:

Munro Sonics and their cute egg shaped monitors: http://www.munrosonic.com

Oak Audio and their colourful full range speakers: http://www.oak-audio.co.uk

What have you stumbled upon lately?

do you recommend Wadia 151 for Opera Prima speakers

My speakers have a similar specifaction to the Opera Prima i.e. 89dB sensitivity, but the impedance of the Opera is nominally 4 ohm (mine are 6.5 ohm minimum). This shouldn't be a problem, as the Wadia is conservatively rated at 50W into a 4 ohm load, The amp is neutral and has a clear and tight bass response. Treble is never harsh. It's not the most powerful amp and only supports digital inputs, but I am very happy with the sound.
