I also heard these JBL LSR305 and was quite impressed what they did for the price of just 200 euros.

Try to audition for yourself in your local pro audio shop.

IMO these sound good and aren't bad to look at for a non-studio setup. M-Audio M3-8

I'd also buy these pads. Auralex MoPad XL

Going back to mono Vlad......? *scratch_one-s_head*

The M-Audios are €200+ each....!

€200 is a pretty tight budget, you might need to look for returns or runout deals.

Just to add, if you are prepared to ship out of London, these are rather good if somwhat basic looks wise.

Wow. My bad. they are listed €250 each! in the shop. *ROFL* The sales guy said 250 withy such confidence as if they were the deal of the century.

I'd rather have a pair of Adams at that buget.

Carry on.

Fostex PM0.4d would fit the purpose.

Certainly would for say, desktop use, little bit lightweight for use at a distance, the bigger models will be fine though over budget.

The Seiwin 6a mentioned above are bigger than they look, have 6 inch bass drivers, powerful amplification and genuinly room filling capability. Astonishing for the money, not far off Yamaha HS7s at a fraction of the price.
