What can I stream football on? Is there a tablet where it works or laptop with big battery life? I got my laptop but I have to plug it in because it runs out of battery. I see you can get a laptop/tablet these days, would that work?

Any ideas.

What do I need.

I don't think I understand your question. From a full charge, your own iPad will quite happily stream for several hours from such as iPlayer or TV CatchUp without running out of battery, especially if you keep the brightness down, But I'm sure you know that already, hence why I think I must have completely misunderstood your question.

I would like to stream football from here:

http://www.vipboxuk.co/sports/football.html

On a device. My ipad doesn't seem to allow me to do it, is that right? What other devices with long battery life will?

Ah right...I'm nowhere near a tablet or domestic computer atm, is the problem because it uses Flash or Java? If so I'd imagine a full-fat Windows 8 tablet would do it, but that's a bit of a luxurious expense just for one specific task.

Got a link to one?

I doubt that site is in any way legal. Sky Go works on iPads though.

Does that site stream football then?

Sky Go will show whatever football Sky are broadcasting, yes. It's an app, not a site.

Ah okay, not what I'm looking for, I would like to watch just Norwich for every match.

Not off hand and I can't google atm. LHC's dodgy link sounds cheaper.

Which one on here would be best?

I would like to stream a whole 90 minute game on a single battery life?

Yeah sorry, my bad. Accessing the forum from work on a heavily-crippled IE8 which shows the whole forum as little more than plain text, very easy to lose track of it.

I seem to be getting on well with the Apple MacBook Air at doing it now, so I might just keep with it but just a bit expensive. I might drop down to the 11inch to make it more comfortable laying in bed and using.

I'm now thinking a Windows tablet might be the route, it will definitely do it, right?

I think Windows + dodgy streaming sites + Your tech savvy is a disaster waiting to happen

Cheers Dave, I think I will keep with the Apple then, I am getting more used to it now.

Oh you mean on the Norwich website, do you? That costs money, I figure the amount I pay for the MacBook Air it will work out cheaper overall. :)

No, I mean go to the stadium. You've heard of public transport right?
