I am very new to all this tech stuff so please forgive me if I get it wrong, here goes I have a Panasonic lcd model number is TX32LXD700 that I purchased from the Panasonic shop yesterday (after several weeks wait I believe this model is in short supply) I was very happy with it up until a few hours ago when I notticed the whole picture going a kind of orange and yellow ish colour I have turned the tv on and off a few time and this fixes it for a hour or so but now the whole right side is deep yellow, I have spoken to the shop who adivised me to return it for them to check it, they also told me this model has a common fault with the colour process chipset (that means nothing to me) and I would be better to change it for a different model can anyone adivise me if this is true, I really wanted this one because of the sound and I have no room for a bigger plasma thank you

Hello there yes there is a very common fault on this tv that causes the problem you are having, I have had 3 yes 3 replacements the last one just a few days ago before someone finally told me about the design fault within the tv picture computer (don't ask thats what I was told but I have no idea what they mean) anyway I have changed mine for a Sony lcd and so far so good.

I asked Steve, at Panasonic, about this and he said there was no problem with the colour process chipset on this TV.

I thought the same chipset was in the lxd70? anyway, in honest opinion I've never seen any color faults on the panel :)

I still think there has been a 'bad' batch which has this 'yellow ' problem.

Is the backlight okay on your LXD70 Divsky?

It is a fantastic TV and will be even better when I get one without the yellow on black!

Afraid I don't have a home cinema system but I am delighted with the sound so not really bothered.
