I've neve been convinced by things like this. Do they offer a money back guarantee? Maybe best you try it in your own system and see for yourself.

I use a Marigo Signature mat on my Sony DVD player and it gives an all round improvement in sound and picture. They are expensive at about £100-£120 but might save you money in avoiding the desire to upgrade yur player/TV. I originally bought it to use with my Cyrus CD player and it certainly improved the sound, however having just upgraded to the slot-loading model I can no longer use the mat with my hifi. However I am sure there are probably more cost effective ways to improve your system that would be worth persueing first.
