Squeezebox Question

I have a Squeezebox 3 connected wirelessly to my laptop to an external drive where I store all my music with a digital cable straight in to my Supernait which works brilliantly.

The question is how do I set my Squeezebox to play music from the laptop ie spotify or dvd drive, I know it should be simple but I can't get it to play from the laptop only from the laptops external drive, hope you can help cos its driving me nuts

Hm - I thought Squeezebox could basically play served files or internet radio, and that's it - didn't think there was an option to stream whatever the PC is playing via it's own internal audio … la Airfoil. But I shall investigate...

I don't think spotify can be played (Yet) but there was a workaround mentioned on the slimdevices forum. I heard that spotify would be officially supported shortly but when is anyone's guess.

You need the WaveInput plugin, which is kind of like Airfoil for Squeezecenter by the sound of it (though looks to be Windows only).
