Hi All

 

I was wondering what would be the best package of speakers for approx 1600. I dont want hugh speakers and ideally should be able to be wall mounted, well the back two definitely. I would like them to be good surround sound as well. They will be mainly used for movies. I have a pioneer Sc-lx 71.

I am in two minds whether to go for small satellite speakers as I have been told that they do not give great sound. Please, please advise. I am making a hugh investment and want to make sure that I choose the right ones.

The B&W MT-30 fit your requirements to a tee.

Yes, there is gonna be some compromise between smaller style speakers and traditional 'boxy' speakers, but I don't think you'll have any complaints once you hear them. They're great.
