speakers need upgrading

Dear All,

I have the following system:
Amplifier: Pioneer A6
CD Player: Pioneer D6
Speakers: B&W DM600i
Speaker cable: QED XT Anniversary
Turntable: Rega 3

I need to upgrade my speakers as they are quite old and I feel that sound is dull. I listen to classical music and jazz. Could you recommend speakers (if possible floorstanders) at a budget of GBP1,000? I was considering the EPOS M22 and the DALI IKON 6. Will they be a good match for my system and my music taste?

At this price point you need to audition IMHO It'll be more down to your taste than any particular shortcoming of the speakers.
