I am looking to buy a Marantz amp PM6002 and CD player CD6002 and need some speakers for it.
I listened to the new KEF iQ50's £500 pr and the B&W 684 £700 pr with the set up. I see that What Hi-Fi didn't like the KEF but my dealer said that the pair used was faulty and a new review is upcoming which should give them a glowing report? I really liked the B&W but the price tag is a tad high but I may defy the credit crunch and go for them. I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on speakers which I should listen to for comparisons. I like all ranges of music from Led Zep to Oasis, Kaiser Chiefs, and some pop and the odd classical and Latin gutiar.
