speaker stands for either Proac Response D2 or ATC SCM19

Hi All,

I am going to be buying one of the above speakers shortly to go in my bedroom system. Was wondering if my partington super dreads would be OK for either speaker?

The current speakers have the tweeter at ear height when Im in bed sitting up, but the new speakers would mean the tweeter would be another sat 10cm's higher. Does this still sound OK and would I be hearing the most from the speakers if the tweeter is higher than it is now and away from my ears?

just tried listening 10cm below the tweeter, slight loss of airiness, seems slightly 'darker'.

this is 3 metres from the speakers.

As Craig has also noted i also can't see there being too much of a difference in performance.
