Speaker Purchase Help

Hi Guys,

First time visitor, first time poster []

I've just preordered the following from Amazon: http://www.royjowetthomecinema.co.uk/product/Onkyo-TXSR508-3D-HD-Ready-Amplifier.html

I didn't realise that although you get 4 sattelites and a woofer with the package, that the receiver's actually at 7.1.

Any recommendations on an extra 2 speakers? Low to mid range price please ladies and gents.

Any sensible replies will be gratefully received.

What speakers did amazon include?

Do you have a link to the one you bought?

You dont need 7.1, you can make due with 5.1.

Normally I wouldn't bother, but I'm buying this with a redundancy package (after 11 years) so I may as well get a 'full' set whilst I have the money!

What are your room's dimensions? Do you strictly need 2 extra speakers? It may be better to actually go for a superior 5.1 system with that extra money. What's your budget?
