My Tannoy Sterling SE's have a grounding post on the back to connect to a convenient GND. Seems unusual for speakers and was wondering if any other speakers have one.

If you have one, do you use it and do you notice a difference.

I have connected it up and notice a VERY subtle difference in sound. More open etc etc....but the difference is VERY small.

So definitely worth having, then? That's the conclusion I reached last time I tested some Tannoys.

Worth having, maybe yes maybe no.....like I said the difference (to my ears) is very slight. Seeing they are there though its a no brainer to connect them up.

Andrew, have you seen them on anything other than Tannoys?
