Speaker cable

Your thoughts please --- I Have just ordrered an Arcam mini solo with some Focal 714 v speakers yet speaker cable is £20 per meter -- Are the speakers a good matchfor the system and are I getting screwed on the cable -- your thoughts are greatly appreciated !

only comment i would make would be regarding the power of the amp in the mini 25w and that needed to drive those speakers - i mean drive them well. i don't think the mini will do them justice I have a solo that i was using to drive a pair of dali ikon 2s and in the end i decided to down grade the speakers to something easier to drive MS902is - which are no where as good but no worry about power problems. Also i wanted something smaller for my bedroom as the Dalis are quite large standmounts.
