Owing to our purchasing a new corner group sofa that is much bigger than we first thought; I will have to look into wallmounting my B&W 601 S2's that i am using as rear speakers in my home cinema set-up; just looking to be pointed in the right direction for best quality brackets that are out there......

Hi there.

I have my rear Quad Lites wall mounted on B-Tech brackets, that I bought from an Amazon seller. Unfortunately I can't remember which one but if you search you will probably find them. The brackets in my opinion are well made, easy to put together and swivel and tilt.

I use something similar (possibly the same), that swivel and tilt. They've been up on the wall for about 12 years and are still going strong (which is saying something, given my DIY 'skills').

I think Argos used to sell them, and I've seen them in DIY supermarkets.

If you are prepared to pay (a lot) more, then something like these would certainly look good!

Hi i would recommend either the AVF 700's (available B&Q £26.99) which are a well made side clamping speaker bracket with swivel and tilt facility 20kg max weight and a lifetime gaurantee in black/silver or the B-TECH BT77 Ultragrip's (amazon £30) which again are side clamping with swivel and tilt and a 25kg max weight both come with a cover to conceal the wall screws.

I've used both and personally i find the ultragrips excellent they're a bit more substantial and modern looking over the AVF'S IMO the only thing to be aware of is that both recommend using fixing screws if using the tilt facility for safety and i know not everyone would be happy to pop a little screw into the bottom of their speakers i certainly wasn't at first

hope this helps stu
