Soundcard...help pls

Guys, I am building a Home media entertainment system (well I am not building it but someone else will) the problem is it will need to output digital signal at 44.1 kHZ but all of soundcard I have come across seem to output at 48! Also it need to have both Optical and coax outputs.

Any idea?

Any soundcard will be able to output at the correct bitrate, depending upon source. You may find that the optical and electrical outputs are more of a problem though, and you may end up installing more than one soundcard to cover both. Look at m-audio's PCI range for ideas...

JD, but my current laptop's soundcard is output at 48 KHz!

I will look have a look at M-audio thingy. thanks buddy
