I have finally taken the plunge and have ordered the Digital Sound Projector and matching Piano black subwoofer for a fantastic price of £618 plus free delivery. This would have cost me £950 from a local shop. I was after the 40D model however it would not fit on my AV Rack!!

It might have cost more locally because your local dealer would have had to order the sub specially.Did you mention to your local store you could get them cheaper? If you're upfront with your local dealer they're usually more than willing to help. Although I'm not sure why it'd be £950 as the normal price would be £800.
The 30D is part of the Pre-Eminent range, a range which dealers are not allowed to mail order, so S&V are breaking their dealer agreement in supplying it to you.
