SONY SCDX501ES CD/SACD PLAYER

It was made as part of a quality mini-seperates type set-up for the Japanese market - 501 System - and over there it was packaged with the matching amp and the SS-K10ED speakers. It has never officially been promoted as a UK product but is still covered by European warranty as it has recently been offered to dealers through the UK dealer site.
At the prices they are going for now I think the CD/SACD player is decent value and its certainly well made. Only thing to watch is a slightly noisy transport - if you listen to lots of quieter music and you sit close to the CD player you might find the quiet but constant ticking a bit much.
Very much a middle of the road sort of product to be honest.

i was struggling to find anything out about it - guess thats why - wonder how it compares to any other £200 cdp
