Fidue A73 would be my choice at that price range.

Hybrid dual driver and has clean punchy sound. Probably the best in ear monitors for less than £200.

Thanks. I am not familiar with the fidue nor have I seen any reviews on them. The reason I am asking about the sony is that it can be had for £ 40 which seems to be a good price.

head over to head-fi.org - fidue are highly rated amongst audiophiles. do a search and you will see reviews and posts in their forum. Biggest headphone forum on the net.

I had a pair of A83 and they are astonishingly good.

Hi. Well I got some Sony,s today. They sound very good straight out the box but I have put another log on the fire and I am burning these babies in as we speak

Well I have had them playing for a few days continuosly in the shuffle mode on my ipod and I must say that the sound has improved and the sound now is brilliant they are really worth considering I can see why they got five stars on here the sound is so clear in comparison to the other headphones that I own and thats quite a few namely RHA, Soundmagic. Shure I believe that they sound better than all of them. I can hear things that I have never heard before in the music that I like. I am happy now with my choice.
