A honest review for any who are in the market for the W8. I read so many reviews on how bad the black levels are, honestly i have found them to be really dark not a issue for myself and same goes for night viewing no issues their either. Standard def content is so good i really did think at times i was watching HD material.Bad news is i found a light bleed at the right hand side of the screen but only on football content and football only. for me this was a no go as a big sports fan, so i returned my set after only 2 weeks today. i have now upgraded to the W9, I'm hoping the poor viewing angles i have read up on are what they said about the so called poor black levels on the W8.

It should be quite good, it is just everything gets compared to plasma, and plasma are the best at blacks. If you look at the Sony for an LED it is really good.

This was my first LED set and i have to say it was up their with my Sammy Plasma for deep blacks!

I bought man of steel on 3d i cant wait to test it on the W9 when it arrives
