Sony KDL extension switching

Hi everyone.

I have a Sony KDL46 EX503 TV and have a freeview box connected to it via scart (it does not have a HDMI socket). Whenever I switch the TV on it automatically switches to the freeview box (AV1). This is quite annoying, is there any way of stopping it?

Yep tried the AV2 slot and the same thing happens, very strange.

Only thing I can find on the internet is to use a 9pin scart but these seem to have mainly been replaced with 21pin scart leads.

I have noticed the "scart record" setting is on in the options but if I try to turn this off I get an error message and it auto turns back on.
