         I have just bought one.

       Help me out. Some of this forum reading is depressing me a little.

       Has anyone out there got anything good to say about one of these sets?

Did you find one in stock somewhere? This model is discontinued and Sony UK have none left.

I bought one on 6th january.Came with the free sony BDP-S350 blu ray player and 5 free blu ray movies plus a 5 year guarantee after i registered with sony.
Love it so far and it is every bit as good as what hifi sound and vision said it would be.
One tip..leave picture processing to a minimum (noise reduction plus MPEG noise reduction) or off all together because i found it leads to poor looking skin tone colours on dvd movies,less so with blu rays.I thought dvds were terrible before i realised this was the problem along with having noise reduction on my blu ray player aswell.Just turn it all off.
Tweak away at the settings for a while and i`m sure you will be as happy with it as i am with mine.
