I've read the reviews that the W4000 is excellent and then I saw Sony released the W5500 with 100Hz. Which should I get? The W5500 has 100Hz but there's not many reviews out there so don't know if it's any better than the W4000 or not. Can anyone help me decide?

thanks

My advice would be go and look at both, decide what other equipment to go with it as I've seen both and the W5500 on HD/Blu-ray (Hancock) is mind blowing! If you remember the 32D3000 the new one is near this but now better with Full HD, better contrast and DLNA (when up and running). Don't bother with the Multi stores, independents may have a few W4000 left.

Don't forget whathifi may not of tested this as they rely on the manufactures giving them a set to test.

Good luck in your hunting!

Both are very good tv sets. The W5500 is the newer set, with technologies aimed at sport(100Hz) and upscaling Sd to HD (BRAVIA engine 3) Depends whether you watch alot of sport/news/etc, i personally would go for the W5500

according to reviews the w5500 is very good with sd ( better than w4000 ) although this will be less noticable on a 32 inch screen , the 100hz is great for sport , although the w4000 doesnt have it , it still handles motion well , if money is an issue and you can save a few hundred the descision is close .. at this screen size ... if there was less difference , go with the w5500 in my opinion ....
