SONY DAV-IS10 - Ipod interface

What are my options in connecting my iPOD to the Sony DAV-IS10 system. Am I tied into buying the official Sony TDM-IP1 dock ?

Hardly taboo!

There's a pair of analogue audio inputs on the back of the DAV-IS10 control centre.

Connect a cable to these with two phono plugs at one end and a 3.5mm stereo jackplug on the other end, shove the 3.5mm stereo into your iPod's headphone output, and you're sorted.

Of course you won't get the remote control, etc., you get with the DM Port dock, but you'll get music...
