I've never bought a home cinema system before and have been looking at both of these systems. Both seem to be around the same price (around £350) but I'm having trouble deciding between the two.
I realise the DAVIS10 is a lot more compact but I have a reasonably sized living room and so the size of the speakers is not a major consideration for me. Apart from the speaker size, is there anything else that the IS10 has got going for it that the DZ830 doesn't?
I have also visited some sites where the DZ830 model is multi-region. Does upgrading the equipment to multi-region spoil the performance of the system at all?
I have a Sony Bravia KDL40V2000 LCD TV. I have heard that the Bravia models can have some connection problems with certain types of HDMI cable. Can anyone who has a Bravia recommend an HDMI cable?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks very much.
