Sony Bravia TV and BDPS550 blu-ray

Hello

I have a 32" Sony Bravia linked via HDMI to the BDPS550 blu-ray and wondered if it was possible so that it would automatically select the HDMI input once I put in a DVD, as it is I have to toggle through all the inputs using the remote until I get to the HDMI input, I have looked in the manual and cannot find anything - is it possible ?

Damian, from what I can remember when I set mine up you need to authorize the HDMI input in one of of the TV menu's. It is in the manual somewhere.

I have the same player and a Bravia screen. As soon as the disc goes in, my screen changes to the right input. I can't remember what I did to set this up but it can be done.

Have looked at all TV menu's and blu-ray menus and cant find anything yet ! but if it can be done I will find it, thanks for the responses.

On my w5500 it is in the setup menu, then HDMI, then, control for HDMI which is set to ON
