sony blu ray tv picture problem.

Hi all. I am new to this forum so i was wondering if anybody out there can help me.

I recently bought a sony BDP-S370 blu ray player and a Yamaha RXv 1065 Receiver..when i go to watch a blu ray or normal dvd. i keep getting a pink screen on my tv, but if i turn everything off then on again it is ok...i am using QED classic hdmi leads and my tv is a Samsung LE40A656 LCd.

I would be very grateful if anyone can help....Thankyou

Is the blu ray through the amp to tv or direct to tv, what screen settings ? etc

Hi Stu31. the blu ray is fed through the amp to the tv. screen settings are set to hdmi 1. hope this helps.....thankyou

Sounds like a 'handshake' issue between the amp and either the tv or the bluray

Next time switch channels on the amp (to tv or whatever) then back to the bluray to see if it fixes it

hi alienRIk. done as you suggested..seems to have done the trick....will take out all the hdmi leads and give them a good clean as well.......many thanks

Not an unknowmn problem, albeit slighhtly irritating, does happen about 1 out of 10 times with our set up as well
