Sony BDP-S570

Just wondering if this player performs the same as the BDP-S370 in picture and sound quality?. Apart from the 3D capability and built in wifi, is it the same machine?

I have the current mag, but there's no mention of the BDP-S470 which I've seen advertised in a few places. Is this exactly the same as the 570 but without wifi?

Thanks for the heads up, just going out to buy the magazine. Ideally I wanted a quality player with features like the S370, the built in wifi of the S570 attracts me more. I will decide after I read the review, thanks.

Im not sure, anyone correct me if im wrong, I think S470 is exactly the same player as the S370, apart from the 470 having multi-region capability for dvds.

and also the 470 is 3D compatible via firmware update.

I suspect that the S370 can do 3D too, just that Sony disable it via frimware.

Nope - any multi-region capability is not sanctioned by Sony; it's a retro-fit/fix

Erm, I think I'll stick with my original thought that the 470 is just the 570 without wifi!!

yes it pretty much seems to be the same machine without built in wifi.
