could anybody please help me with the following i am after a 4k tv with hands down better picture quality than the sony 65x9005b i dont want oled to expensive what can anybody recommend?

there is nothing wrong with the sony bigboss this is the tv that i think i might get but is there a 4k tv with hands down better picture quality than the sony max to spend £3000

Look for 4K TVs with HDR. Some of the 2015 range onwards have them like Sony KD-65X9305C.

Good luck! The minimum you need for relative futureproofing is HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 and HDR.
