I find that hard to believe, Sony are just about to spend a fortune plugging there 2010 3d range.Surely not in there interest to make such an anouncement...

I've seen something in a magazine along these lines. It was sort of cone shaped thing that effectively presented a 3D scene you could look at from all angles I think.
But it seemed like something that was about 5 years away from what I remember.
