Im seriously considering picking up this set, which can be had for about £550 having done a quick search on Google Shopping. Im amazed that there seem to be no reviews on the internet about this specific set though. I understand it uses a different panel to the other sizes in this 'V' model range, so id really like some clarification as to how well it performs vs its smaller 32" and larger 40" siblings (i realise the 40" has a different spec, but it would be good to compare the two anyway).

Can anyone help at all? Any owners that can share their thoughts? Whathifi - have you had any dealings with this set, or heard feedback from others?

For what its worth im planning on sitting about 2.5m away, using a V+ box, Xbox360, and standard DVD player (although an upscaling one will be purchased soon). Oh, and i will be connecting a laptop from time to time as well i imagine. 40" would just look too large in my living room. And a 32" would be a little small and a bit of a strain on the eyes i think when watching films at 2:35 aspect ratio.

Any input would be great.

Cheers

Oh man, im guessing nobody has actaully bought one then?!!

Erm, so has anyone even properly demo's the set in store? Just really trying to get some opinions here from people that have sampled the set rather than read about it online.

I haven't bought one, and would not because they lack some of the features that are present on the 40" version. They do not have the full 1080p resolution and will not accept 24fps content, I believe.
