I am looking for a "future proof" 32" LCD & the only set that has Full HD & 100 Hz with good reviews is the Panasonic 32LZD85.

However, having just read the review of the Sony 26V4500 does anyone know anything about a 32" version ?

Well, I found the 32V4500 spec from Sony website & it`s not full Hd nor has 100 Hz. I visited my local Sony centre & they had one in the shop. The picture was very crisp, clear with both SD & HD. This retails for £599 with a 5 year guarantee included.

For another £50 (internet price) I could get the 32W4000 with full HD, not 100 Hz, with a 1 year guarentee included. The problem with this is the thin transparent strip at the bottom of the set which I find distracts your vision from the tv picture - I suppose you could always put some black electrical tape over it !!

The Panasonic 32LZD85 has a simpler design & saw this alongside the W4000 in a retail store. I have to agree with What Hi-Fi`s Supertest (August issue) - my eyes were drawn back to the clarity of the Sony W4000.

It`s going to be a difficult choice.
