Something positive

Not sure if it's just me but I've noticed no ads on iPhone or from work computers on the forum, that's a nice move. It has made the site seem quicker and we're not plagued with the page jumping about anymore.

Thank you!

Never have a problem with ads showing in IE, however Chrome is a pain in the backside, which I avoid as much as possible.

Unfortunately the way IE works to stop ads combined with the way WHF Forum works, means that it can sometimes present problems when posting.

I'm sure it won't last... *biggrin*

It would be a step back so I hope they don't, they have enough ads in the magazine anyway lol

Hmmmmmmm

Got an ad just now on the mobile. At work using ie there are no ads, maybe it's something to do with the network in work?

Forums cost nothing to run really, for just the mechanics of it, hosting you're talking £10pm could probably do it for less if you paid yearly. Also ads don't make a lot of money, peanuts really.

Would love to see some Google analytics for this forum.
