SkyHD new EPG and connection for DolbyD

Hi

Does anyone know when the latest EPG will be released (I noticed that the latest issue of WHFI has a pic of it)

I presume the new EPG will be sent automatically to my existing box?

I need a good optical cable for dolby (I have a good coaxial but my box has no connection!!) I have seen a QED OT for 17.50 (from the mag) and also a TCI Coral for 31.49 (five star), would buying the latter be worthy of the extra outlay? Is the QED a good cable? I think its been superseeded now by a four star cable (QED performance)

If it helps, the sky box will be connected to a Yamaha dspax763 and then to the monitor audio br5 package (ex sub)

The word from other forums is that the new SkyHD EPG is on hold while various last minute issues that have shown up in testing are fixed.

The first indication of the impending arrival of the new epg is that a glossy manual detailing all the new epg changes will be arriving through your letter box prior to the update.

Yep, latest we've heard is that new Sky HD EPG - originally slated for October/November rollout - will now arrive from January. Software issues, it seems....

And yes, they've promised a big education splurge - both in Sky Mag and on-screen tutorials, plus Sky.com.
