Why do dvd maufacturer's rave on so much about the quality of their dac's inside the dvd player when most people use the digital out and send all the 'unconverted' material straight into the amps digital in and let the amps dac's do the converting...Are we paying for dac's in a dvd player that we do not need ? If the dac's in the amp are so much better then surley we need only a low quality dac in the dvd player or none at all Can some-one clarify all of this as i think i may be 'missing the point' somewhere along the line....
