Should I swap my 4 Q Acoustic 1010 surrounds for AE AEGO T Satellites

Bought myself some AE Neo 3 front speakers and a Neo centre but am still using 4 wall mounted Q Acoustic 1010s for the surrounds.

Can't get hold of any Neo 1's in the right colour so was wondering if anyone has any experience of the AEGO T's as they are very cheap at the moment. The white ones would suit my lounge well in terms of colour.

Aego T speakers are very cheap coz they are rubbish. Keep your QA's.

hi. i was wondering if you could help me with something. i recently bought 4 aego t satellites off ebay. I didn't buy the fifth speaker as a centre because it can only stand vertical which is a problem for me as my tv is above the fireplace. i was wondering if it would be ok to pair the aego t's with a neo v1 or neo v2 centre. Would it sound ok? what is your opinion on the quality of these speakers? any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Hi, I ended up getting the Neo 3 fronts and Neo centre and use tba AEGO T's for the surrounds. Like the sound but wouldn't think the Neo centre would work very well with your fronts.
I can't really think of an alternative. They say you should use the same centre as fronts.
Another thing, the Neo centre is very big so might not solve your problem.

hey. thanks for the quick reply. so how much did you end up paying for the two fronts and centre then. i was looking on ebay and they do they do a pair of neo 1s for £100. is this good? i am a complete newbie as far as home theatre is concerned. i also already bought an onkyo 608 amp. do you think these speakers will go well with this amp?

also forgot to ask what subwoofer are you using with your setup. i was looking at the b and k gemini and acoustic energy radiance both the same price. any recommendation would be great. thanks

I paid £180 and £75 for fronts and centre. I would definitely go for Neo 1's as think they are a bargain. Also got the Radiance sub off eBay. Don't think you'll find a better sub for the money. I have an Onkyo 606 and they sound good with it. I get the impression the speakers will work even better with a better amp, as yours is.

i just changed two of my aego ts for two neo 1s for my front setup. i am going to keep the other two aego ts for the rears as you have. i was wondering if i could use a neo v2 centre with the neo v1s as i can't find the older model in the colour i want
