Should I sell My Philips 42PF5521 for a Panasonic TH-42PX80?

I (like most of us here) run the a/v audio through an independent sound system, but I'm finding the speakers on the philips far too imposing.I want something a little more discrete.Enter the Panasonic TH-42PX80. After the rave reviews WHAT HI*FI gave the Panny in their June '08 issue, not to mention that it is available online from Dixons for £625 with free delivery, I am extremely tempted to sell My Philips (around £500 on ebay), put the extra and get the Panny. Obviously, the picture counts first.Can the Panny outperform the Philips visually?

Hi, short answer is Yes, it will outperform your Philips. Although, not by large margin: blacks are slightly deeper, colors are nicer too, but is it really worth additional 125 £, and trouble with selling? Donno, you will have to answer yourself. Sure is: Panny has the edge regarding picture quality...
