Hi, bit of a noob question coming up... I have a set of speakers from my Onkyo micro system that I am quite happy with. I am installing a second system and want to use the same speakers. Can I just run another set of speaker cables to them, or could that cause damage to the other system (only one would be used at once of course!)? If not is there a splitter I can use?

Thanks folks.

You can't connect two systems to one pair of speakers. You'll probably seriously damage one or both systems. You either need to switch speaker cables when changing systems, or get a two amps into one pair of speakers switch box.

Niles Audio in the States makes one, which sells for under $100. It's the Niles Audio DPS-1
