Setup Upgrade Question

Hi guys,

Need some help deciding what to upgrade. At the moment my set up is:

Rotel RA-11

Polk RTiA1

Rega RP1

Was thinking of upgrading my TT with my heart set on a Pro-ject RPM9.2 with an Ortofon 2M Bronze (unless there are any other recommendations for a cartdige) and was wondering if my amp and speakers would do this TT any justice.

Keeping in mind this is only the first stage and I slowly plan on upgrading my system to eventually an amp+phono stage and speakers.

Or should I just keep saving and get a better amp and phono first?

Hi flyhigh welcome to the madhouse!

You do not mention your room size but if you are happy with amplifier / speaker synergy the I would go for your turntable.

I have not heard your speakers but they got good reviews and the amp looks good too.

The only thing I would suggest is looking at one of the Grado Prestige cartridges in place of the Ortofon but hey, its your choice. 🙂

The room is about 3.5x4 metres and the cartridge was what came recommended in the pack but I'll look into your suggestion
