Hi chaps

This TV currently sells for circa £2k. When the new models come out in May will it see a price drop and if so how much is that likely to be?

I am not sure where you are getting your information from but it can be bought for £1700.

Lol no my budget won't stretch to 2k and I'm happy with my current TV for the next few months. I know the 8500 will drop as the 7500 dropped 1k last May. Wondering if it will drop again.

Of course it will drop again. Historically, prices of TVs keep dropping periodically until the new models are out.

No idea at all. It depends on how many TVs are sold and how many remain to sell before the new model comes out. I have seen TVs drop in price by 40-50%. This is by no means a yardstick for comparison.

Cheers big boss. Which is better the yamaha ysp-2500 or Phillips htl9100? Cheers, not too bothered about the price diff. 🙂

I haven't heard them both. Personally, I respect Yamaha soundbars hugely because they have been game changers in the industry.
