Samsung UE40F8000?

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying the Samsung UE40F8000, downsizing from a 3yr old 50" Panasonic plasma and thinking LED is the future. 40/42 inch ideal size and from what I've read this Samaung is a decent tv. One thing though is do I wait for the new range to come out? Will it be soon and will it be worth it? Or do I look at different brands?

Yes, starting this month and i doubt that they will be worse than last years models and i don't see any problem staying with samsung.

Great thnks. Do you think the new one will be worth the extra money to the untrained eye, especially considering the evolution packs they they do now?

As soon as the new batch of tv's hit the shop floor and on the manufactures websites, WHFS&V and probably avforums will more than likely review the tv's, so if you are after a perticular tv i don't think you will have to wait for a review, best advice i could give is sit tight, watch the websites and perhaps purchase in the summer.
