Samsung TV smart hub ARC

Hi

I have recently installed a 55" samsung curved tv. I am unable to send sound back to my yamaha amp via ARC when wanting to listen to audio through my seperate surround sound via ARC with the samsung built in apps? Doe anyone know if samsung support ARC when using the smart hub? All settings turned on.

I believe only one hdmi port will be compatible with arc, so you must make sure your using the right one, it's normally named on the back of the tv. Also I'm guessing your audio settings on the tv must be set to use the hdmi rather than the speakers or the optical if it has one?

Yes its plugged into HDMI 4 which shows ARC on it, but still nothing......when turning on netflix in the smart hub no sound? confused.
