Samsung 6 series fault - MP3s play too fast!

I bought a Samsung LE40A686M1FXXU last January. As soon as I tried using the MP3 player system with a USB pen I noticed that the tunes were being played too fast! It was running 3.5 seconds per minute too fast - very annoying if you are playing your favourite songs. It has taken until today (28/4) for Samsung to admit they have a problem and fix it. I tried another 6 series in Comet - it was exactly the same. I recently noticed that the sound coming out of the phono sockets at the rear of the set were not in sync with the pictures. The cure for the other fault has fixed that also. Try your set.

This probably isn't what you want to hear but I can't actually think of any reason why I'd want to play mp3s through my TV! The unsync'd sound is certainly a problem but I doubt I'd have even discovered the mp3 problem!

Actually playing MP3s through your TV is great, if you have a good system plugged into the output.
