Sorry about another 'which one should I buy' thread but I have an added problem. The height including stand must not exceed 59cm. This is the absolute maximum, there is nothing that can be done about that.
I will use if mainly for watching sport and general tv with the occasional dvd. A very good 'smart' capability is a must and I will want to use it for skype a lot so a good camera will be an essential accessory. I won't be using it for gaming and have purchased a Fox Sat PVR. I will also need to purchase a sound bar as I don't have an av system and don't want lots of speakers and cables everywhere. 3D is not important and I won't be using that. The ability to access iplayer and similar from ITV anc channel 4 is very important. The only candidates so far are Samsung 40ES8000 and Panasonic 37ET5B. Panasonic 42WT50B, 42ET50B, 42DT50B are all excuded because of height. It will be used in a reasonably well lit room so the brightness of the Samsung might be an advantage
Should I go for the Panasonic or the Samsung or are there any other suggestion.
