Given that many places are now offering the Leema Pulse and one or two have the Harman-Kardon HK990 for good reductions on normal retail price, anyone looking for amps in the category you are looking at above, would do their shortlist no harm to add them to it. Both have excellent qualities and are a big intrusion on the "usual suspects" at the £700 price point.

I think an audition is a must.

Like Mr. Spot, I love the Leema Pulse but unless you hear it with at least two different speakers (same for the other amps mentioned) I fear there could be tears.
