roksan caspian m-1 series vs bryston bcd-1

I get to audition these cd players but not able to a-b test them in my system, I'm looking for a bit more dynamics to replace my cec which is linked to laid back Plinius+spendor combo, I read writings about some equipments are not picky with brand mixing, as my preference centred on the accuracy of timbre, dynamics and refinedness of the reproduction. Having owned several weak bass sources, now i've narrowed down to Roksan and Bryston, i think both has solid bass to begin with, now i'd like to know what you think of the two players.

Better yet any comparison with any of these two will be appreciated.

I did not hear the caspian, but I demoed Bryston. You described your needs very well, and Ithink Bryston has it all, and why you are not consider Plinius CD player. I demoed 102 I think and it was very good.
