My current setup is a Rega P3 with Elys 2 Cartridge, Marantz DR600 CD recorder and (dont laugh) a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 4s connected to a Cyrus 2 via Linn cable. The Cyrus 2 is on its last caps so I am looking to replace it with a similar quality Amp and possible new speakers as well. Not many amps these days have phono stages, and some even have tone controls to interfere with the sound. Vinyl is still the source that I most listen to, ranging from The Beatles through Pink Floyd, Tomita and Classical music to X Ray Spex. I tend to use CDs for background music or in the car.I have considered, but not auditioned, the Rega Brio 3. I have read good reviews of the Roksan Kandy K2 but do not like the styling. I have a budget of up to £700 for the amp and would welcome any advice.

Shame it wasn't a Cyrus 3 following the recent bit of news from Cyrus themselves...!
