Replacing M-1 centre speaker with htm61 series 2

I was considering changing the centre b&w m-1 speaker for an htm61 series 2 in my av system. I sometimes feel the mt60d system lacks a bit of depth and body in the mid and high range. Would this be a good tonal match for front and rear m-1s? Am I thinking correctly, that the improved centre speaker duties would add the depth and body I'm looking for? Larger front, left and right are not an option at the moment due to space restrictions.

Does anyone have any experience mixing 600 series b&w with the mt60d package?

I would try to borrow one from a local dealer and see if it works for you. The HTM61S2 is a way better speaker than an M-1 which should vastly improve vocal reproduction. The question is, will it work with the rest of the system? You may need to fiddle around with the cross over and level setings a bit so it doesn'tt over power the fronts.

I have mixed 600 series with M series before but just using M series as rears and sides with 600 fronts.
