Replacement AV amp

I hope someone can help - I am looking to replace my Onkyo TX-SR606 amp, which I think is on its way out. It seems reluctant to change HDMI input, which seems to be a common problem with this amp.

I am looking at the Yamaha RXV375. Would this be a noticeable drop in performance, or would the fact that it's a lot newer mean it would be fine? Or should I really be trying to increase my budget? I will be using it with my Jamo A102 HCS5 speakers. I don't particularly need any wireless functionality, and 4 HDMI inputs are sufficient.

Thanks

Rob, there is a Onkyo TX-SR876 on amazon for 280 quid which was a 1000 pound amp in 2008. It doesn't have wireless which you don't want anyway, but would give you an upgrade potential for your speakers if you ever wanted to. I don't mind buying used kit but I realise it's not for everyone.

Thanks for the tip. Not sure I want to go for Onkyo again though - mine's been giving me problems for a while now, and it's put me off them a bit, particularly when it's second hand. I also think that amp might be overkill for me.
