Would this be ok in a small roon 4m x 3m?

I was going to get the RS1 but read that the RS3 is actually smaller than the RS1 with stands.

The side driver would have to fire inside though. Anyone use the 3's in this way?

Best wishes

I used to have the older Rega R3s and used them with the bass drivers firing inwards. (I preferred them that way.)

The RS3s will be ideal in the space you described. They are not at all fussy. Point them straight out (no 'toe-in') and use them as close to the wall as you need to.

Just don't go piling up your hifi/AV equipment (or any other stuff) between them. If you need a TV between them then wall-mount it.

Thanks for the replies. I suppose by the time I buy speaker stands there is not much difference between the RS1 and RS3.

How would you describe the sound True Blue?

Natural and neutral do not add nor detract anything from the recording.

Slightly more bass when drivers pointed inward, when pointed outwards sounstage widens but at a loss to the lower frequencies.

When I was demoing my kit, I listened extensively to the RS3's, they held their own with speakers costing twice the price.

Reason I got R3's was got a bargain as they were the "old" model.
